The Dubuji (meaning ‘place of spirits’) boardwalk is located in Cape Tribulation on the Daintree Coast and takes you through ever changing Daintree lowland rainforest habitats. Marvel at the impressive fan palm canopies and enjoy wandering through the rainforest, swamp and mangrove areas full of diversity of life.
Along the way take a moment to read the informative signs describing plants and the amazing rainforest ecosystems.
Towards the end of the walk you have the option to continue on to Myall beach, a picturesque white-sandy tropical beach well worth a photo, or take the return path back to the Dubuji carpark.
There is a large picnic area with rain shelters for you to relax and enjoy a packed lunch after exploring the Dubuji boardwalk. There are also a number of cafe’s and restaurants in the Cape Tribulation area. Browse our directory to find where to eat.

Tropical Cyclone Jasper crossed as a Category 2 cyclone 13th Dec 2023. The event caused significant damage to Cape Tribulation Road, Cape Tribulation Bloomfield Road & numerous other sites.
Repairs are well under the way and most roads have access for traffic, some sections have limitations. Visit the Douglas Shire council website for the latest road updates.
