From the Daintree Ferry through to Cape Tribulation and all the destinations in-between, the Daintree Coast is a 2 hour coastal drive from Cairns and 1 hour drive from Port Douglas.
After crossing the Daintree Ferry you’ll drive through spectacular Daintree rainforest and past stunning coastal vistas. You do not need a 4WD to explore the Daintree Coast and many roads are sealed.
When you step out of your vehicle, take a big breath. Here you can immerse and connect with nature and wilderness and leave the rest of the world behind. Stroll along the Daintree rainforest boardwalks, listen to the sounds of birds, frogs and other wildlife. Enjoy the sand between your toes as you walk along the incredible tropical beaches – here Two World Heritage areas are side-by-side – where the Daintree Rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef.
