What attracted you to the Daintree Coast?
Unique Natural Beauty, Wild conditions, Intrinsic discerning energy. Like minded souls.
Where did you previously live?
Around Australia and the world.
I left home as soon as possible to embark upon my journey to destinations that ticked all the boxes in the natural world… I spent five years traveling and connecting with faraway lands, until I came to the realisation that I was only really searching for myself. Always feeling at home wherever I went because I was at ‘home’ within myself. This occurred to me on a two-year journey through Africa where I understood not much was needed for happiness. I drew strength from the African people whose survival skills are second to none. I knew from then on, I would live very simply and endeavoured to do just that.
After my globetrotting adventure ended, I settled in Port Douglas, working as a massage therapist. I also had the privilege of ‘working’ at ‘that hippy shop’ – ‘Imagine’, which some of you may know very well. My time there was a huge part of my spiritual growth. Surrounded by crystals, talking to other healers and enlightened beings on a daily basis helped carve my path of ‘nothing set in stone’ which I am eternally grateful for.
I now live in accordance with nature deep in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest with no power or running water.
What made you/your family move here?
By listening to the calling and melding with the energy here to heal myself and others.
What do you like to do with your time here?
I Enjoy Healing people naturally and holistically.
Mind Body Soul.
The beach is my soul sounding board and saviour.
I run a mobile massage business – Massage Daintree, providing remedial massage and traditional healing treatments to residents and visitors to the Daintree Coast.
I also run healing and wellbeing retreats – Dragon Dreaming Retreats – held in spectacular luxury Daintree rainforest accommodation.
What changes have you seen whilst living here?
Too many and not enough.

What is something you wish you knew about before moving here?
That I could be at peace and at home within myself in such a beautiful place.
