        The first turn off after disembarking the Ferry on the North side of the Daintree river, Forest Creek Road is a lovely drive through rainforest and rural landscapes.

Masons Café is seeking experienced kitchen staff. We have a position available to start in immediately. Previous experience as a short order cook in a similar café style environment is highly regarded. You will work well in a busy environment, able to follow directions and complete all tasks unsupervised to a high standard. Food Preparation, cooking in a commercial environment and customer service experience is essential. We are looking for happy customer focused people who work well in a team.

Live and work in the amazing Daintree Rainforest! We are right in the heart of it at Cape Tribulation.

THERE IS ONE PERMANENT PART TIME POSITION (with holiday/sick pay) AVAILABLE AND ONE CASUAL POSITION AVAILABLE CURRENTLY. Or two casual….

Permanent Part Time need to guarantee a year of work, and casual is until end January. You MUST be able to work over Christmas New Year.

Both jobs start mid October.

Masons Café is seeking experienced kitchen staff. We have a position available to start in immediately. Previous experience as a short order cook in a similar café style environment is highly regarded. You will work well in a busy environment, able to follow directions and complete all tasks unsupervised to a high standard. Food Preparation, cooking in a commercial environment and customer service experience is essential. We are looking for happy customer focused people who work well in a team.

In addition to cooking you will be required to make coffee and smoothies , have excellent customer service skills, help with food preparation, be punctual and well presented. Bothpositions require you to be a team player with the capability to work in all sections of the Cafe, have a current QLD RSA and commit to a minimum 16 weeks employment.

Mason’s Cafe is well known for our Croc, Emu and Roo Burgers, and smoothies using local fruits. We have a busy bus trade in addition to independent travelers.

This position is for 30 plus hours per week on the award wage. Staff accommodation is available in an older style Queenslander type share house located on the property. There is Telstra and Optus mobile coverage. The staff accommodation is available subject to conditions, it is not a rental house; it is accommodation for staff only.
